VW 508.00/509.00 "blue" oil for specific engines of Volkswagen Group

Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is a longlife PAO-based oil formulation with a universal applicability in gasoline and diesel engines for specific Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat vehicles requiring the VW 508.00/509.00 specification. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is having green coloring (not "blue") and Zirconium marker. These properties are mandatory for a VW reblend approval. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 enables the engine to perform under severe driving conditions (motorway and urban traffic) due to its special additive package. Also improved fuel economy (> 4% benefit when compared to a SAE 15W-40 reference oil) and exhaust emission reduction can be obtained with this product. Because of the unique formulation, the oil has a low evaporation tendency, minimizing oil consumption. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is going to be formally approved for the VW 508.00/509.00 specification, along with the first fill specification VW TL 52577. Only the two VW specifications are valid on this 0W-20 formulation, although the Porsche C20 specification may be implemented as compatible. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is not backward compatible with the earlier Volkswagen specifications required in certain versions of the older engines. Eurol Syntence LV 0W-20 is recommended for the new EA888 Gen III 2.0 TFSI 140 KW, VW 1.5 TSI 96 KW/110KW and EA897 Gen I 3.0 TDI CR 160 KW Volkswagen/Audi engines. It is expected that 15 to 20 new "blue" oil capable engines types will be introduced in the near future, representing 50% of total VW production, including Audi, Skoda and Seat brands.
