Special cleaner for reservoirs of metalworking machines
Grotanol SR-2 is a mineral oil-free system cleaner and cleaning agent for coolant reservoirs of metalworking machines.
 
Grotanol SR-2 kills bacteria and fungi that affect the emulsion. Floating oil is emulsified. Due to its special cleaning properties, caked-on dirt, in the form of, for example, metal particles or bacterial colonies, is loosened.
 
Grotanol SR-2 protects tools and workpieces against rust due to its increased alkalinity.
 
In case of skin contact, rinse carefully with water immediately.
 
Grotanol SR-2 should be added at least 6-24 hours before the coolant change. Work can continue without interruption.
 
After removing the old emulsion with the system cleaner, we recommend rinsing the system with water for optimal effect. Dosage: 0.25-0.75% depending on the degree of contamination.
 
For external cleaning and disinfection of the machine, a solution of 0.5% to 1% is usually sufficient. Rinsing with water is also recommended for this.
