Carbon Neutral currently consists of four products: the Carbon Neutral HD-FE 5W-30 and Carbon Neutral DXS 5W-30 engine oils, the Carbon Neutral ATF 6700 automatic transmission fluid, and the Carbon Neutral Hykrol JD 68 UTTO oil. With this streamlined assortment, a broad coverage and a wide range of performance levels are achieved in various sectors, including automotive, truck, agriculture, and earthmoving. The product line will also be presented at the Eurol stand during Automechanika 2024 in Frankfurt.

Eurol Carbon Neutral aligns with the European Green Deal, which aims for a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. In the Netherlands, larger organizations will also be required to register and actively reduce their CO2 emissions starting in July 2024.

Intrinsic CO2-Neutrality

“With Carbon Neutral, we have chosen intrinsic CO2-neutrality. This means we do not opt for compensation through emission certificates but rather for developing products made from renewable components of natural origin. All this without compromising on quality. The recyclable packaging, which consists of 50% recycled granulate, is also innovative in the lubricant market,” says Bart van Hoorn.

The Carbon Neutral products can easily replace regular products. They are fully integrated into the online Eurol oil advisor and are clearly identified in the product recommendations as the ‘CO2-neutral choice.’ Eurol specialists are also ready to advise, optionally with the use of an integrated sustainability scan that also considers other Eurol product lines.
