Eurol Strengthens Partnership with Rocco Coronel

Eurol is proud to announce the intensification of its partnership with Rocco Coronel. The support will now extend to all racing activities of this young Dutch racing talent, who was recently admitted to the Red Bull Junior Team.

Rocco, who began his racing career at a young age, has already delivered impressive performances in various karting competitions. Helmut Marko of Red Bull Racing is also impressed and this year added Rocco, as the youngest driver ever, to the Red Bull Junior Program. With his passion for racing, Rocco is determined to make his dream come true and build a successful career in motorsport.

Ginetta Junior Championship

In addition to Eurol's support in the European and World Karting Championships, Rocco will also be backed in the English Ginetta Junior Winter Series and the subsequent Ginetta Junior Championship in 2025. This championship consists of eight races and is an important step in his development as a driver, where Rocco can compete with other young talents and further sharpen his skills. Many drivers, including Formula 1 driver Lando Norris, British GT champion Seb Morris, British touring car champion Tom Ingram, and W-Series champion Jamie Chadwick gained their first experience in the Ginetta.

In the United Kingdom, there is an opportunity to start in junior racing classes at the age of 14, with certain restrictions. The Ginetta Junior Championship is one such class. The races are held with the Ginetta G40 from team R Racing, equipped with a tubular frame, an FIA-approved roll cage, and a fiberglass body. A 1.8-liter Ford Zetec engine with 100 hp provides power, paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox.

Rocco Coronel on the Partnership with Eurol: “I’m happy to have Eurol as a partner because the brand has a solid reputation in the racing world. We aim only for the very best. Eurol racing lubricants help me perform even better on the track. Together, we’re going for gold!”

Dennis Marsman, Head of Brand, Marketing, and Communications at Eurol, adds: “We support young, international, and driven racing talent, including Rocco. We know him well, partly through our years-long partnership with his father, Tom Coronel. We look forward to seeing Rocco grow and thrive in his career.”
